<\/p>\nChelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali has reportedly entered the Blues dressing room after every game this season. Todd Boehly’s business partner was seen leaving the home dressing room after their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, according to the Telegraph, he hasn’t addressed the players directly and has instead only “shaken hands and greeted players and coaching staff, while wishing individuals well”. Chelsea have got off to their second-worst start to a Premier League season this year.<\/p>\n
Under the guidance of new manager Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues have only recorded one win in England’s top-flight from six games. Last weekend’s loss to Aston Villa marked their third defeat of the season with the west Londoners currently sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table at the time of writing.<\/p>\n
Yet Pochettino insists he has the backing of the board and claims they “aren’t disappointed” with the club’s poor run of form. “I speak with Todd, but also Behdad and the sporting directors,” he said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

“We’re in contact. They’re supporting the project. They’re not disappointed because the performances are good. We share the same idea about that, but we need to score goals to win games.”<\/p>\n
Chelsea’s misfortunes in front of goal have proved to be their biggest problem. There are concerns that new \u00a332million striker Nicolas Jackson isn’t clinical enough to be leading the Blues’ line but he also hasn’t been helped by the lack of service being offered up to him.<\/p>\n

His shot conversion rate has dropped from 29.27 per cent at Villareal to 5.26 per cent at Chelsea.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, his shot success ratio (how often he hits the ball on target) is down from 56.1 per cent to 36.84 per cent. On the other hand, his link-up play has seen a healthy boost.<\/p>\n Per 90 minutes, he now averages 22.02 passes in comparison to 17.89 passes with his overall pass success ratio up to 80 per cent from 76.4 per cent last season.<\/p>\n
