<\/p>\nA boss of Flamengo football club was involved in a bust-up with one of his OWN fans in a shopping centre.<\/p>\n
Marcos Teixeira Braz – Vice President of the most popular club in Brazil – is accused of rowing with supporter Leandro Campos. Security guards had to get involved in the ugly scenes in which Mr Braz said he suffered a broken nose in the melee that happened at the Barra Shopping in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.<\/p>\n
As well as VP of Flamengo – whose former players include Ronaldinho, Romario and Zico – he is a Rio de Janeiro city councillor. He is a member of Jair Bolsonaro\u2019s Liberal Party and boasts 900,000 followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Witnesses said the fight began after Flamengo supporter Leandro confronted Braz about the club\u2019s recent woes. Two days earlier, the club had lost the first leg of the Copa do Brasil final to rivals S\u00e3o Paulo at Flamengo\u2019s Maracan\u00e3 Stadium.<\/p>\n
After the bust-up, Campos went to hospital with minor injuries. Braz claims he was in the Pandora store with his 15-year-old daughter when three supporters came in.<\/p>\n

They allegedly demanded the sacking of coach Jorge Sampaoli and striker Gabigol. Braz claims the trio insulted him and threatened both him and his daughter. He claims he only confronted the men after the threats.<\/p>\n
An employee, who chose to remain anonymous, told local media Campos had complained about Flamengo\u2019s situation and then left. Campos was then injured after being approached by the group and claims he was bitten on the groin.<\/p>\n

He told local media: \u201cI was walking in the shopping centre, I work there. I am a deliveryman and work on a bicycle. The exact words I said were, \u2018Marcos Braz, leave Flamengo.\u2019 I said exactly that, turned my back and walked away. At no point did I threaten him or his daughter. At no point."<\/p>\n
Campos\u2019s lawyer, Ani Luizi says Campos has been unable to work for fear of reprisals. Campos denies breaking Braz\u2019s nose.<\/p>\n
