Julia Crockett-Grills and Abbey McDonald return.

The Demons are on top of the ladder of percentage from Adelaide, while the Cats are fifth with a 3-1 record.

“Tayla had some hamstring awareness towards the end of Tuesday night’s training session and scans have shown a very minor strain,” Melbourne’s general manager of football operations and AFLW Marcus Wagner said.

“While this will unfortunately rule her out of Thursday night’s game against Geelong, we are optimistic that Tayla will be available to play in round six. We will continue to monitor Tayla and see how she responds to training over the coming week.”

GEELONG MELBOURNE: Keep up to date with the best AFL coverage in the country. Sign up for the Real Footy newsletter.
