One anonymous X (formerly Twitter) account in particular, which has gained a large number of followers, is being closely monitored by the club, reports the Daily Mail. The account has been posting several accurate injury updates before they were confirmed by the crisis-hit club. <\/p>\n
United suspect the account has been run by someone who either works for or is linked with the club. A number of other accounts are also being monitored as part of a wide-ranging probe.<\/p>\n

The club are said to fear the potential leaks could undermine team spirit and help upcoming opponents prepare for matches, with United 10th in the table after their worst ever start to a Premier League season.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreparation for games these days is so thorough that leaked information about team line-ups and injuries can give the opposition an advantage to exploit,\u201d said a club insider, reported the Mail.<\/p>\n

Manager Erik ten Hag was asked about a potential mole in the camp at a recent press conference amid a troubled start to the season on and off the pitch.
