Andrea Berta has been praised for his reorganisation of Atletico Madrid’s transfer strategy

Berta has been at Atletico Madrid for a decade, both as a technical and sporting director

With Spurs former managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, resigning in April this year, the North London club are looking to reshape their executive team.

Meanwhile after United’s poor start to the season and many of their new signings struggling to adapt to Old Trafford, Berta has resurfaced as a potential candidate to join the club.

However United’s current managing director John Murtough would reportedly keep his job should Berta head to Manchester.

After PSG’s Champions League battering at the hands of Newcastle, the Ligue 1 champions are also looking to rethink their transfer approach.

They are reportedly looking to focus on recruiting more youth, with Berta the kind of man that could lead such a drastic change.
