Kyle Walker was involved in a heated tunnel bust-up with an Arsenal backroom staff member over an apparent handshake snub as the Gunners triumphed over Manchester City 1-0.<\/p>\n
Arsenal inflicted Man City’s second loss in a row, the first time Pep Guardiola’s side have lost back-to-back games in five years.<\/p>\n
Tempers were high after the game and Walker and teammate Erling Haaland were seen confronting a group heading towards the tunnel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The right back squared up to Nicolas Jover, the Arsenal set-piece coach who had worked for the Manchester club between 2019 and 2021, after appearing to ignore Jover’s gesture.<\/p>\n

Haaland subsequently tried to pull his team-mate away before further staff members and security got in-between the pair.<\/p>\n
It followed Gabriel Martinelli’s second-half winner in the 86th minute which ended a 12-game losing streak against City in the league.<\/p>\n
Afterwards, Guardiola grinned and said on the bust-up: ‘I know what happened but I won’t say anything. They know it.’<\/p>\n
Former Manchester City defender Micah Richard commented: ‘It looked like he was going to shake his hand, but Kyle didn’t really want to,<\/p>\n
‘We’re in October, if we were in March or April I could understand the frustration, they probably don’t want to go to Arsenal and lose but it’s not the end of the world.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
