Juventus are interested in signing Tottenham and Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the January window, according to reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Danish international has been strongly linked with a move away from north London after falling down the pecking order within Ange Postecoglou’s side.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mail Sport revealed in September that Atletico Madrid\u00a0were keen on launching a loan offer,\u00a0which included an obligation to buy, for the former Southampton star.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But now, reports in Italy claim that Serie A giants Juventus are keen on signing the midfielder as they look to bolster their squad in the January window.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady have identified Hojbjerg and Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi as two winter transfer targets.<\/p>\n

Juventus were hit with troublesome news last week after Paul\u00a0Pogba reportedly produced a second positive drugs test following analysis of his B sample.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The maximum suspension in such cases is four years – an initial two-year ban, which can be doubled if it is proven that the substance was taken deliberately.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Italian outlet suggest that Pogba’s potential ban will lead Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri to signing midfield reinforcements – such as Hojbjerg.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mail Sport also revealed that\u00a0Hojbjerg turned down a move to Fulham\u00a0during the summer transfer window.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fulham made a \u00a325million offer for Hojbjerg as they looked to add more Premier League experience to their side for the current campaign.<\/p>\n
Tottenham signed Hojbjerg from Southampton three years ago and he has proceeded to make 153 appearances for the club.<\/p>\n
However, he hasn’t started any of Tottenham’s eight Premier League games so far this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
