He scored two and got an assist. I came off at 60 [minutes].<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Still to this day, he\u2019s the opponent I think that just destroyed me, man. I\u2019ve never had it like that before.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018At that point, I\u2019m thinking \u201cthis kid is going to be the best player in the world\u201d. Because I\u2019d never seen someone move so quickly and sharp and effectively, so I\u2019d say Brandon Barker.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Barker came through the Manchester City academy before leaving the club to join Scottish giants Rangers in 2019 &#8211; following\u00a0loan spells at Rotherham, Hibernian and Preston.<\/p>\n<p>However, after failing to impress during his time in Scotland, Barker finds himself as a free agent in 2023 following short stints at Reading and Cypriot side\u00a0Omonia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barker, now 27, spent 11 years in the Manchester City academy and made one appearance for the first-team after\u00a0coming on as a substitute for Bersant Celina in a 5\u20131 defeat against Chelsea in the FA Cup.<\/p>\n<p>He also managed to represent England at U18, U19 and U20 level between 2013-16.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/12\/12\/76472095-12623157-image-a-22_1697111528056.jpg\" height=\"462\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Alexander-Arnold claimed Brandon Barker (L) was the hardest opponent he&#8217;s ever faced<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Alexander-Arnold recently made headlines after James\u00a0Maddison<span> jokingly attempted to wind-up the\u00a0<\/span>Liverpool<span> defender <\/span><span>while on England duty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Maddison is known for his social media pranks and pulled off another one when he shared an image of him and Alexander-Arnold inside the gym at St George&#8217;s Park.<\/p>\n<p>He captioned the snapshot: &#8216;still asking for a replay&#8217;
