In a statement soon after, Napoli broke their silence as they said: &#8216;Calcio Napoli, wishing to avoid any exploitation of the issue, point out that we never wanted to offend or mock Victor Osimhen, who is a treasure of this club.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, the episode has clearly unsettled the 24-year-old, whose national team coach has been vocal in his support of the elite forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/15\/76525843-12628085-image-m-43_1697208985208.jpg\" height=\"713\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jose Peseiro blasted Napoli for the bizzare posting of the videos that mocked their star man\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/15\/75869723-12628085-Napoli_posted_videos_on_their_TikTok_which_appeared_to_mock_Osim-a-44_1697209081123.jpg\" height=\"475\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/15\/75869751-12628085-It_also_mocked_him_for_putting_the_penalty_wide-a-45_1697209081135.jpg\" height=\"475\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Napoli posted videos on their TikTok which mocked Osimhen for appealing for a penalty in a goalless draw against Bologna and his subsequent miss from the spot\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/15\/75905859-12628085-A_second_video_allegedly_from_the_club_s_account_compared_Osimhe-a-46_1697209084459.jpg\" height=\"802\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A second video, allegedly from the club&#8217;s account, compared Osimhen to a &#8216;coconut&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That video? From the club?&#8217; He told Sky Sports. &#8216;From the outside is one thing but a video from the club, that is the worst. That cannot happen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He was sad because it is not easy for anyone. He does not understand it. He does not understand why.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Osimhen fired Napoli to a first league title in over 30 years last season and scored 26 goals to become Serie A&#8217;s first African Capocannoniere. He is adored among the supporters in Naples- almost to as high a degree as Diego Maradona.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This, as\u00a0Peseiro continued, added to the bizarre nature of the incident. &#8216;He helps the team to the league and now they are mocking him?&#8217; He said. &#8216;Osimhen is a star. Two years ago, he was not a star. Now, he is a star.
