Ebanie Bridges has predicted her weigh-in with Avril Mathie will be an unmissable event as she makes her return to the ring.

The Blonde Bomber hasn't fought since December when she stopped Shannon O'Connell to be crowned the IBF bantamweight world champion. However, almost a year on, Bridges will return to the ring to face Mathie.

Mathie, who also likes to strip down at weigh-ins, has been turning heads in the division. And one cheeky fans asked Bridges on X, formerly known as Twitter: "@EbanieBridges is the weigh in going to be lit?"

And Bridges responded: "Lit is an understatement #BattleOfTheBoobs!" Bridges isn't shy abut showing off her body at the weigh-in, and she has stoutly defended her decision to strip down.

And talking back in April, Bridges joked a weigh-in between the pair could 'break the internet. Speaking to talkSPORT she said:"I love Avril, I think she's great, honestly!

"She works really hard and I respect her for what she does, her hustle, her lifestyle and what she's done. I think it will be a great fight and it will definitely be crowd pleasing. I think our weigh-ins will break the internet."

However, when asked about what would happen in the ring, Bridges added: "I don't really see it going past the first four or five rounds, obviously with me winning. She's a tough Aussie, but so was Shannon O'Connell and I'm just getting better and better.

"So, it will be exciting if we have that fight and I would like to fight her and as she said we were in talks for a fight. I would like to give her that opportunity because I think she's great and I think she deserves it."
