Kylian Mbappe may be the main man at Paris Saint-Germain but it appears he has been surpassed by a new team-mate in terms of shirt sales, according to reports.

The departures of Lionel Messi and Neymar in the summer left Mbappe to dominate the spotlight at the Parc des Princes.

However, he is receiving some competition in the form of new signing Lee Kang-in.

Journalist Abdellah Boulma tweeted: ‘very popular since his arrival from Mallorca for £20m, the South Korean Kang-in Lee is the Parisian who sells the most jerseys. (Slightly ahead of Mbappe).

PSG signed South Korea international Kang-in from Real Mallorca in the summer.

Kylian Mbappe has not been PSG’s top shirt seller this season, according to reports

The midfielder, 22, signed a five-year-deal with the French champions but has seen his start to life in France impacted by injury and national team duty.

South Korean fans are known for their passionate support of their own with the likes of Son Heung-min treated like royalty in the country.

This could explain the large number of shirt sales since his arrival in Paris.

Mbappe is also in the midst of his sixth season with PSG meaning most of his fans would have already got their hands on one of his shirts.

22-year-old Lee Kang-in arrived from Mallorca in the summer and is hugely popular

The French champions haven’t had the best start to the season, winning just four of their opening eight matches in Ligue 1.

They were also thrashed 4-1 by Newcastle in the Champions League earlier this month.
