The Premier League announced the first batch of games selected for TV in December and their respective kick-off times, with December\u2019s complete list of fixture timings soon to be confirmed ahead of the busiest period in the footballing calendar. <\/p>\n
And United fans have been left seething after they were handed a late night Saturday trip to Tyneside, alongside a possible train strike affecting that day. Even so, an early glance at train times reveals the latest train back to Manchester being 8.58pm \u2013 which would be at half-time.<\/p>\n

Many took to social media to vent their anger at the timing, one said: \u201cNewcastle v Manchester United at 8pm on Saturday night. Considerate.\u201d A second added: \u201cZero consideration for match going fans as usual.\u201d <\/p>\n
A third fan called the decision a \u201cjoke\u201d, while a fourth added: \u201cThese 8pm Saturday night kick-offs can get in the bin…\u201d This could be just the beginning of festive frustration for fans ahead of Christmas with the possibility that Premier League matches could be played on Christmas Eve this year. <\/p>\n
