A Sheffield United fan got so fed up with Alejandro Garnacho's diving that he walked right up to the Manchester United star to do an impression of him.

Erik ten Hag's side made it two wins on the bounce after narrowly seeing the Blades off at Bramall Lane on Saturday night. Goals from Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot cancelled out Ollie McBurnie's first half penalty to move the Red Devils up to eighth and keep the hosts rooted to the foot of the table.

In second half stoppage time, one home supporter let his frustrations get the better of him, in comical style. He hopped the barrier, stormed over to Garnacho, who had just won a free-kick near the byline, and mimicked the Argentine's diving technique.

The mischief-maker was eventually dragged from the side of the pitch by a couple of lackadaisical stewards, but not before directing a rather rude hand gesture Garnacho's way, as a smirking Christian Eriksen watched on. Fans on social media were absolutely loving it, with one X user writing: "Hilarious. I think everyone thought it was Erik ten Hag at first."

Another said: "Proper football fan this bloke. No stupid violence. All he wants to do is tell Garnacho he's a w*****. Love it." A third joked: "Nice to see the stewards in such a hurry."

Amusing injury time antics aside it was an emotional day for Manchester United, who paid tribute to the late Sir Bobby Charlton, who passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 86, before the game. The 1966 World Cup winner spent almost his entire career at Old Trafford, scoring 249 goals in 758 games.
