So we have to look within ourselves, what is wrong with this club at the moment?<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I don&#8217;t blame the manager one bit. Him and his staff are doing everything they can and I don&#8217;t even blame the players. They are all top players.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The squad is unbalanced, but there is something wrong fundamentally with the club at the moment.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You here all the buzz words around the club but at the end of the day, we can&#8217;t score goals.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>In fairness to Chelsea, Lukaku was always going to be a hot potato to handle this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was desperate to force a move back to Inter Milan, where he reached the Champions League final on loan last season, and reportedly refused to turn up to training.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even when he did, he was made to train with the U21s\u00a0as he had fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There were talks with Juventus over a deal involving \u00a338.5million plus Dusan Vlahovic\u00a0but that never went ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Juventus fans stormed the pitch in a training match and protested outside the club&#8217;s medical centre\u00a0about their pursuit of Lukaku.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/11\/77139593-0-image-a-52_1698579217136.jpg\" height=\"432\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>While Lukaku has been a consistent goalscorer throughout his career, he has a sour relationship with Chelsea<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/11\/77139513-0-image-a-53_1698579244490.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>In Italy, he has been revitalised at Roma and Inter Milan, where he reached the Champions League final last season<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/11\/77139519-0-image-a-54_1698579273063.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Lukaku has a &#8216;special relationship&#8217; with Jose Mourinho, who has managed him in the past<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/11\/77139667-0-image-a-55_1698579341560.jpg\" height=\"446\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Mauricio Pochettino made Lukaku train with the Chelsea U21s over the summer<\/p>\n<p>It has worked out for him at Roma, where he is managed by Jose Mourinho, his former boss at Chelsea and Manchester United who he admits he has a &#8216;special relationship&#8217; with.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On his form under the Portuguese boss, he said: &#8216;As I\u2019ve said in the past, he and I have a special relationship. He knows me and my children,&#8217; said the Roma striker. &#8216;He\u2019s someone I can trust, and he puts his trust in me.
