Mauricio Pochettino has warned Chelsea they must stop making the same mistakes if they are improve their fortunes going forward.<\/p>\n
Chelsea have had a poor start to the season, with their 2-0 loss to Brentford meaning they have just three wins from their opening ten Premier League games.<\/p>\n
Things could get tougher for the Blues who have a tricky run of fixtures coming up,\u00a0 with their next five league games coming against Tottenham, Man City, Newcastle, Brighton and Manchester United.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Blues had another busy summer window with a turnover of 40 players, with Chelsea signing 12 and offloading 28 to take their spending under Todd Boehly to over \u00a31billion.<\/p>\n
Pochettino has warned that Chelsea can’t afford to repeat the ‘mistakes’ they have made and that it will take time to get things right with his young team.<\/p>\n

Asked if he believes Chelsea have been cursed, Pochettino said: ‘Things that go against you, you have to try to resist them and try to survive.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘You have to be quiet and be strong. And not to lose your balance, because it is easy to blame or say something that is going to affect other people and lead to division in the club.<\/p>\n
‘The important thing is to trust the ideas, the judgment and analysis of why certain things have not happened.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘To help the organisation to be better and to improve, and not to make the same mistakes again.\u00a0The most important thing is to learn from the mistakes.’<\/p>\n
Despite their struggles, Pochettino believes their performances have been ‘consistent’ despite their mixed run of results.<\/p>\n
He said: ‘A young team means too many changes in the summer because of the circumstances and we are suffering \u2013 sometimes good and bad results, but performances are consistent.’<\/p>\n
Chelsea dropped into the bottom half of the Premier League following their home defeat to Brentford.<\/p>\n
They face Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, which will give them the opportunity to gain some confidence ahead of Monday’s tricky feature against league leaders and unbeaten rivals Tottenham.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
