<\/p>\nMason Greenwood scored a brace for Getafe on Wednesday night as they hammered Spanish minnows Tardienta 12-0 in the Copa del Rey.<\/p>\n
The Manchester United loanee scored his second and third goal for the La Liga side joining at the start of September \u2013 following on from his maiden league goal scored against Celta Vigo earlier last month. <\/p>\n
Greenwood netted Getafe\u2019s second of the game from close range after being left unmarked following a well-worked move. But his second and the Madrid side\u2019s fifth of the game was a memorable one for the 22-year-old.<\/p>\n

The England international picked the ball up 25 yards from goal before wriggling through the challenges of three players and beating a further two more who attempted half-hearted tackles as Greenwood skipped between them.<\/p>\n
Taking the ball into the area, he played a one-two, which played him through on goal before firing an unerring left-footed strike low across the goalkeeper into the bottom corner, a finish that he became synonymous with at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Greenwood almost wrapped up a hat-trick but another low strike that beat the keeper was disallowed by the referee. The trip to their sixth-tier opposition was Greenwood\u2019s fifth start in a row as he looks to be settling into life on and off the pitch in Madrid.<\/p>\n
The Sun previously reported last month that Greenwood is hoping to stay at Getafe for the foreseeable future after a bright beginning at the club and receiving the full support of the fans. A source reportedly claimed: \u201cThe players and fans have all given him a welcome he could only have dreamed of. <\/p>\n
