<\/p>\nCarl Froch thinks Jake Paul would \u201cslaughter\u201d Conor McGregor – even though he believes the YouTuber \u201ccannot fight for toffee.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul is set to take on professional boxer Andre August on December 15, in what will be his first fight since his victory over McGregor\u2019s former UFC rival Nate Diaz. While the focus is on \u2018The Problem Child\u2019s\u2019 next opponent, a fight between him and McGregor has always been rumoured.<\/p>\n
McGregor has already boxed Floyd Mayweather in the past and has previously suggested he would be interested in a return to the ring. However, Froch, who is one of Britain\u2019s finest ever boxers, believes the Irishman would be made to regret fighting Paul.<\/p>\n

\u201cI no longer know what (McGregor's) motivation is for fighting; he's had a couple bad pastings, he's not short of a few quid,\u201d Froch said to CasinoAlpha. "In fairness, he's earned every penny and he was a phenomenal fighter and you have to admire him for that.<\/p>\n
"But I'm not sure why he wants the Michael Chandler fight, or what his motivation is. He's better off hanging around the Misfits and YouTubers and getting involved in a celebrity fight because he's a massive name.<\/p>\n
