<\/p>\nMartin Odegaard has missed two Arsenal fixtures after being hit in the face with a ball during training. <\/p>\n
The Gunners skipper and Norway international was reportedly sidelined due to concussion having been incidentally struck in the head during a session to miss their games against Newcastle and Sevilla.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old is also struggling with a hip injury that played a part in him missing the win over Burnley, but it was the London Colney accident that ruled him out of the two previous games.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail report news of the concussion scare and say that he was immediately withdrawn from the team to face Newcastle after a check-up. <\/p>\n
Current concussion rulings say that players must have six days of rest and then be completely without symptoms before returning.<\/p>\n
The report adds that Odegaard will skip the international break with Norway and remain in England as they take on the Faroe Islands and Scotland.<\/p>\n

Arsenal fans can expect their captain to return after the international break for their Premier League trip to take on Brentford before the visit of Lens in the Champions League. <\/p>\n
Arteta said when asked when the playmaker might return before the break: "I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n
"I\u2019m going to have a meeting now with the medical department and Edu to understand everybody\u2019s situation.<\/p>\n
