Erling Haaland has celebrated a milestone goal – after scoring with his testicles for the first time.

The Manchester City and Norway forward managed to divert the ball goalwards for a second against Chelsea on Sunday using his privates, as he joyfully told Phil Foden on the pitch and again stated post-match.

After the goal was allowed to stand despite a VAR check over a potential handball, the 23-year-old told Viaplay following the 4-4 draw: "I have never scored with the balls before. So it's a milestone."

Haaland was more than happy to score his 13th goal across just 12 Premier League games so far this season, but wouldn't have been happy to take home only a point.

The former Red Bull Salzburg man is looking to beat his own record tally of 36 goals from last season in the league, with a record held by Andy Cole also on the line.

Haaland has scored 49 goals in top-flight English football after just 47 appearances, with Cole's record standing at 50 across 65.

Speaking after the game the forward said that he isn't thinking of the record, as he goes in search of Ballon d'Or glory having finished second for 2022/23.

He said: "I don't think much of it. I'm thinking about winning. We top the table now and it hasn't been such a bad start to the season after all.'
