The punishments must be HARSH &#8211; It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva had a hilarious reaction to Bruno Fernandes&#8217; half-time tunnel talk during Portugal&#8217;s 2-0 win over Iceland.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Roberto Martinez&#8217;s side stormed to victory on Sunday night as they made it ten wins out of ten matches in their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While the national side may have been dazzling out on the pitch, it was actually their half-time antics which made headlines after the game.<\/p>\n<p>During the mid-way point of the match, United captain Fernandes appeared to be giving a team-talk in the tunnel, as they waited to head out for the second-half.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ronaldo and Silva can be seen, in a clip that later appeared on X, listening to the conversation before turning to eachother and smirking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/17\/78071153-12776143-image-a-5_1700586538704.jpg\" height=\"447\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Cristiano Ronaldo (middle) and Bernardo Silva (right) appeared stunned by a half-time talk from Portugal team-mate Bruno Fernandes (third from the left) on Sunday night<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/17\/78071147-12776143-image-a-6_1700586540475.jpg\" height=\"448\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Al-Nassr forward Ronaldo smirked as he turned away from the conversation<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Nassr forward Ronaldo turned away from the conversation with a smile drawn across his face before putting his head down and preparing for the second-half.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Portugal were one goal ahead at that point, thanks to a first-half strike from Fernandes, before Ricardo Horta doubled their advantage in the second-half.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Martinez&#8217;s side made history with the result as they celebrated a &#8216;perfect&#8217; qualifying campaign &#8211; achieving ten wins out of their ten matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fernandes&#8217; former United team-mate, Ronaldo, is the second top goalscorer in the qualifiers &#8211; with his tally of ten goals only bettered by Belgium&#8217;s Romelu Lukaku.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old recently made headlines after savagely responding to claims made by former Sporting Lisbon academy starlet Fabio Paim.<\/p>\n<p>Paim was seen as one of Portugal&#8217;s biggest prospects during the 2000s, with reports that even Ronaldo himself regarded Paim as the most promising young player of his generation.<\/p>\n<p>However, Paim failed to live up to his potential, never making a senior appearance for Sporting, and having six loan stints away from the club &#8211; including at Chelsea where he also never made a competitive appearance.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview on a podcast hosted by PT Clipes, Paim said he deserved at least one of Ronaldo&#8217;s five Ballon d&#8217;Or trophies, and that he could have been on par with the Portuguese icon and Lionel Messi &#8216;if he had half of Cristiano&#8217;s brain&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/17\/78071155-12776143-image-a-4_1700586532068.jpg\" height=\"448\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Portugal duo were seen listening in to the talk at half-time of their 2-0 win over Iceland<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/17\/78071811-12776143-image-a-16_1700587604298.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Portugal maintained a perfect record throughout their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign<\/p>\n<p>Ronaldo in response to the video gave a savage response, as he wrote on Instagram: &#8216;Wtf??? Who is this guy.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>His response comes despite a number of reports claiming that Ronaldo said after his move to Man United\u00a0in 2003: &#8216;If you think I&#8217;m good, wait until you see Fabio Paim.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the podcast, Paim said: &#8216;Cristiano Ronaldo should offer me one of his Ballon d&#8217;Ors. I went to Sporting when I was seven years old, I grew up there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They were years of glory in which I won everything I could. I didn&#8217;t reach where I could have reached, but I marked a generation. If people don&#8217;t forget it&#8217;s because I marked them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I said when I was happy that I thought Cristiano Ronaldo could offer me a Ballon d&#8217;Or. But it was with humility.
