Alejandro Garnacho scored one of the Premier League’s all-time-great goals to put Manchester United ahead against Everton on Sunday afternoon. The acrobatic effort, which found the net inside three minutes, silenced a raucous Goodison Park crowd, whose protests against the Premier League had whipped up a crackling atmosphere.<\/p>\n
The Toffees were on a mission to voice their anger upon returning to domestic action for the first time since being slapped with a 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.<\/p>\n
United and Everton players kicked off to a deafening soundtrack, but it did not take long for the home support to be stunned into silence. Teenager Garnacho was the player responsible, and his wondrous strike will take some beating in 2023\/24.<\/p>\n
While moving away from goal to meet Diogo Dalot’s deep cross, Garnacho executed a textbook, breathtaking bicycle kick which looped over Jordan Pickford to give United a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n

The winger, who was born in Spain but represents Argentina at international level, joined United from the Atletico Madrid academy in 2020.<\/p>\n\n
