{"id":295295,"date":"2023-11-27T13:24:23","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T13:24:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportsloveme.com\/?p=295295"},"modified":"2023-11-27T13:24:23","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T13:24:23","slug":"ufc-champion-confronts-trespasser-at-his-house-in-viral-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportsloveme.com\/mma\/ufc-champion-confronts-trespasser-at-his-house-in-viral-video\/","title":{"rendered":"UFC champion confronts trespasser at his house in viral video"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland confronts trespasser at his house in CRAZY viral video &#8211; before admitting that the man in question was a &#8216;really nice guy&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The UFC&#8217;s middleweight champion was seen in an extraordinary viral clip\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In the video, he appeared to confront an apparent trespasser at his house\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Why Anthony Joshua is RIGHT to hire Tyson Fury&#8217;s ex-coach &#8211; listen to The Hook<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UFC champion Sean Strickland was seen confronting a trespasser at his home in a stunning viral video.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The UFC middleweight title holder &#8211; who claimed the title back in September after a stunning win over Israel Adesanya &#8211; has a tendency to find himself in controversial situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The American has made headlines for some bizarre reasons with a number of outbursts and antics of late &#8211; such as when he was seen chasing a man while holding a flamethrower.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While his most recent incident wasn&#8217;t quite as heated, it still showed the quick-thinking nature of Strickland &#8211; who later spilled the beans on the interaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a video that went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, a man can be seen running down the street before ducking in between two cards parked in Strickland&#8217;s porch.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/27\/11\/78275803-12795323-image-a-14_1701084843386.jpg\" height=\"431\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland was seen in yet another startling viral video<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/27\/11\/78275809-12795323-image-a-13_1701084838101.jpg\" height=\"338\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>In the viral clip, a trespasser hides between Strickland&#8217;s two trucks parked in his driveway<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/27\/11\/78275807-12795323-image-a-15_1701084848094.jpg\" height=\"340\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The UFC champion came marching out after spotting the man via his Ring doorbell<\/p>\n<p>As he hides, the camera &#8211; rigged to Strickland&#8217;s Ring doorbell system &#8211; cuts to one of his other doors and shows the UFC champion marching out of his house.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shouting can be heard almost immediately before the video abruptly comes to an end, leaving fans curious as to how the encounter ended.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Well, luckily for them, Strickland revealed details on the encounter both on a fan page account and his own personal Instagram account.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In response to another user, Strickland said: &#8216;He was being chased by security. The story was that he hit his sister, took off, shredded his tire and his vehicle got disabled and went on foot&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then, Strickland posted the footage onto his personal account, with the caption:\u00a0 &#8216;Checked my ring last night and thought he was stealing my car or trying to break in&#8230; What would you of done?<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I need full coverage on my truck lol!!! Also really nice guy&#8230;&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/27\/11\/78275917-12795323-image-a-16_1701085038640.jpg\" height=\"184\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Strickland took to his Instagram account to claim the trespasser was a &#8216;really nice guy&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/27\/11\/78275805-12795323-image-a-17_1701085043394.jpg\" height=\"460\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The American claimed the UFC&#8217;s middleweight title after a stunning win\u00a0in September<\/p>\n<p>In September,\u00a0MMA legend Ken Shamrock insisted that Strickland&#8217;s controversial behaviour is a positive for the UFC.<\/p>\n<p>UFC hall-of-famer Shamrock believes &#8216;characters&#8217; are a good thing for the sport as he compared Strickland to Irishman McGregor. &#8216;Notorious&#8217; has also become renowned for his outlandish comments and fiery rows with opponents before fights.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;To me, I think that, especially in the world of fighting, you&#8217;ve got all kinds of characters and you&#8217;ve got to be ready for them,&#8217; he told <span>Inside Fighting<\/span>. &#8216;It&#8217;s marketing. As long as people want to hate you, or they like you, just as long as they tune in. So it doesn&#8217;t matter,&#8217; Shamrock said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I think McGregor is the perfect example. He crossed the line a few times on things that were a little bit questionable, but it still raises the viewerships. As an owner or as a person promoting fights, you want that, but you&#8217;ve got to be able to keep it somewhat under wraps, where it&#8217;s not going too far, where you&#8217;re hurting people in the process.
