Mario Balotelli has reignited his feud with Brendan Rodgers by labelling his former manager as a ‘disaster’ and describing him as the worst coach he has ever had during a recent interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Balotelli played under Rodgers after\u00a0Liverpool decided to sign the former Manchester City star from AC Milan for \u00a316million in 2014. However,\u00a0Balotelli struggled for form.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Balotelli scored just one goal in 16 Premier League appearances under Rodgers and only managed four goals in 28 games in total. Therefore, Liverpool\u00a0loaned the striker back to Milan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, it was after\u00a0Balotelli left for Nice under the reign of Jurgen Klopp that he and Rodgers began feuding publicly. The striker was irritated by the fact his former boss made a joke at his expense.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rodgers had said that\u00a0the Italian was the best player he had ever coached and\u00a0went on to claim Balotelli, who had spent a solitary season at Anfield, was a ‘fantastic player’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Balotelli responded to Rodgers on Twitter, now known as X, saying: ‘Brendan Rodgers you are also the best manager I ever had. Amazing,’ complete with a cry-laughing emoji and a kiss.<\/p>\n
Balotelli seems to have reignited their feud by calling Rodgers a ‘disaster’ of a human-being before describing him as the ‘worst’ coach he has ever had during a recent interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Speaking to TVPlay, Balotelli said:\u00a0‘Brendan Rodgers is the worst coach I have ever had. He was number one as far as training sessions were concerned, what with keeping possession of the ball and the small-sided games. But as a person he was a disaster.’\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Rodgers and Balotelli spent one turbulent season together at Liverpool in 2014-15 and enjoyed an antagonistic relationship.\u00a0<\/span>The former Man City hotshot could not fit into Rodgers’ style of football as Liverpool struggled following the sale of Luis Suarez.<\/p>\n As a result, Balotelli was loaned out to AC Milan and was given short shrift by Klopp when he replaced Rodgers as manager.
