Listen to It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thomas Tuchel&#8217;s assistant manager at Bayern Munich has been tipped as a &#8216;leading candidate&#8217; for the currently vacant Republic of Ireland job.<\/p>\n<p>Following a\u00a0dismal Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, Ireland decided to part ways with Stephen Kenny.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, both Steve Bruce and Sam Allardyce have thrown their hats into the ring for the role.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce, who has been\u00a0unemployed since his sacking from Championship side West Brom in 2022, said he is\u00a0&#8216;itching&#8217; to get back to work following his longest spell out of football.<\/p>\n<p>Now it has been revealed that Tuchel&#8217;s right-hand man\u00a0Anthony Barry is being tipped for the role as well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/13\/17\/78923957-12860217-image-a-10_1702488365843.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Thomas Tuchel originally poached Antony Barry from Chelsea to help him at Munich\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/13\/17\/78923953-12860217-image-a-11_1702488368416.jpg\" height=\"790\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Former West Brom boss Steve Bruce has been &#8216;itching&#8217;
