20-year-old Micah Hamilton will forever remember his Manchester City debut after scoring a stunning goal for Pep Guardiola’s side against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The youngster has progressed through the childhood academy ranks at City and was finally handed his first-team debut in Serbia for the club’s final group stage game.<\/p>\n
City manager Guardiola made a host of changes with the reigning European champions already qualified for the next round of the Champions League, with Hamilton getting the nod to start on the wing.<\/p>\n
Holding his run on the right-wing, Hamilton was played into space by Matheus Nunes and took a touch before rounding the opposing defender and smashing his shot into the roof of the net.<\/p>\n
Red Star goalkeeper\u00a0Omri Glazer stretched helplessly to get a hand to the powerful shot, with City players and coaching staff on the bench rising to celebrate the rising star’s first senior goal.<\/p>\n
