People like me, we serve 220 consistently, to corners. It&#8217;s a whole different ball game.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/14\/00\/78938103-12861673-image-a-38_1702512551261.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Becker (pictured at the ATP World Tour finals last month) wasn&#8217;t having it when Kyrgios said it&#8217;s &#8216;absurd&#8217; to think he would be able to measure up in modern tennis<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/14\/00\/78938117-12861673-image-a-39_1702512630815.jpg\" height=\"418\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Aussie has had a long-running feud with the German six-time Grand Slam champion, at one stage calling him a &#8216;doughnut&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;But serve and volley, to do\u00a0it all the time now, you need to be serving 220, because if you serve anything less than 220, bro, Djokovic eats you alive.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Those remarks drew a withering response from Becker on the social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Nick makes a lot of noise about tennis lately!?! Why does he speak about a sport he apparently hate,&#8217; the six-time Grand Slam winner wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Fact-check Nick has never won a major championship as a player or coach &#8230; so where is any credibility coming from?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Speak to your @OnlyFans about many things but [not] tennis!!!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Soon after the post went up, Kyrgios replied with a tweet of his own: &#8216;One thing is for sure I&#8217;m not gonna be sitting here in 20-30 years time, claiming that I could compete and compare to the new kids on the block. It&#8217;s definitely an ego thing.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/14\/00\/78939053-12861673-image-a-40_1702512688199.jpg\" height=\"952\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Becker was one of the biggest stars in the sport during his heyday after creating history when he won the 1985 Wimbledon men&#8217;s singles title aged just 17 (pictured)<\/p>\n<p>While Becker acknowledged that Kyrgios won the Australian Open men&#8217;s doubles title in 2022, he also slammed the Aussie for saying Lleyton Hewitt &#8216;destroyed&#8217; tennis great Pete Sampras at the US Open because his countryman was &#8216;fir first prototype of someone who could return serve&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He made Sampras look like s**t,&#8217; Kyrgios said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;And what would Djokovic do to someone like Sampras? It would be a cleanup. If Hewitt was doing it, Djokovic would destroy him. He would eat him alive.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Becker countered that by writing: &#8216;Trying to compare generations\u2026 Laver v Federer, Borg v Nadal, Sampras v Djokovic!?!
