The North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal was called to a halt on Saturday afternoon after a fan took ill in the stands at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stewards were called to attend to a supporter seated in the away stands in the 80th minute.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Arsenal’s medical team helped attend to the supporter, with fans seeming to spot a defibrilator being carried across the pitch as the team made their way to the stand.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
The pause in play saw an extra 11 minutes added to the tie after normal time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When play resumed, the home side won the clash 1-0 courtesy of a 58th-minute goal from Martha Thomas to mark the first time in the two sides’ history that Tottenham have beaten their north London rivals.\u00a0<\/p>\n
