Paddy Pimblett has taken to social media to announce he is having twins with his wife Laura Pimblett and joked ‘I don’t do things by halves’ before revealing the little ones are due in May 2024.

The MMA star shared a photo of two baby grows with a sign in the middle reading: ‘Pimblett twins due May 2024′. He then captioned the picture: I don’t do things by halves like do I. The Pimblett twins incoming 2024.’

Meanwhile, Paddy The Baddy’s wife shared the identical picture with the following caption: ‘The best things in life come when you least expect it. Our babies due May 2024. You are so loved already.’

Paddy and his wife Laura have been together since they were teenagers and decided to tie the knot in June after the UFC star got down on one knee during a holiday in Thailand three years ago.

Laura described their wedding day as the ‘most perfect day from start to finish’ in a heart warming Instagram post. While Paddy wrote: ‘What a day from start to finish we couldn’t of asked for better weather, atmosphere or people we had around us’.

Paddy will be looking to make his UFC return later this year with Dana White revealing last month that the 28-year-old would be fighting Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 in Las Vegas this December.

The Liverpool-born fighter – who is known for being an entertainer – is yet to make an appearance in the Octagon this year and will have to wait until the end of 2023 to fight.

Paddy The Baddy will be hoping for a more convincing win than last time out, where he beat Jared Gordon in a controversial decision victory. However, he will be heading into the fight off the back of his ankle surgery.

Meanwhile Ferguson, nicknamed ‘El Cucuy’, will be stepping into the Octagon after six consecutive losses and will have to be on top form to end his poor run against Paddy.

It is believed Ferguson – who debuted in 2008 and has been with the UFC since he won The Ultimate Fighter 13 in 2011-  could look to hang up his gloves after the fight in Las Vegas.

Paddy will face former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson in December
