UFC great Conor McGregor quickly deletes Instagram post showing off his shock new look after fans hammer him with unprintable comments: ‘He’s turning into Britney Spears’
- McGregor posts bizarre training video in underwear
- UFC superstar’s trademark beard has vanished
- Is savaged by fans who liken him to Britney Spears
Fans are fearing for UFC superstar Conor McGregor after he posted and then quickly deleted a bizarre video of himself working out in his underwear, casting doubt on his mental state.
The Irishman, 35, uploaded the odd footage to his Instagram account – which has over 45million followers – on Wednesday morning.
In the clip, McGregor can be seen pedaling on a stationary bike in a pair of blue Versace underpants while the Robert Palmer hit song ‘Simply Irresistible’ blasts in the background.
He repeatedly tilts the camera down so it focuses on his crotch.
The former two-division UFC champion is also without his trademark beard in the clip, which he captioned ‘American Psycho II’.
McGregor is no stranger to bizarre social media posts at odd hours, but this one had fans of ‘Notorious’ really scratching their heads.
Fans have accused the UFC superstar of giving off ‘Britney Spears vibes’ in his latest post

‘The dude is turning into Britney Spears before our eyes,’ replied one fan.
‘WTF. Britney Spears vibes,’ echoed another.
‘Bro can’t post a workout video without having his b***s make a cameo,’ replied another.
Several commenters accused McGregor of being on illicit drugs – an allegation other fighters have used as the Irishman spends an extended period of time out of the octagon as he recovers from a serious leg injury.
McGregor, whose last bout in UFC came in a defeat to Dustin Poirier over two years ago, announced recently that he intends to make his long-awaited return to the octagon against Michael Chandler in December – but no official announcement has been made.
Many fans don’t think the MMA star is taking his comeback seriously, and his bizarre posts on social media only add fuel to the fire.
McGregor made headlines earlier this month for attending Anthony Joshua’s fight against Robert Helenius with Australian boxing world champion Ebanie Bridges.
Bridges was helping to promote his Forged Irish stout, and revealed the Irishman is ‘fun, supportive and really positive’.

‘Conor’s team reached out to me and just asked me if I was going to the AJ fight and then if I was interested in collaborating,’ she told Lucky Block. ‘He is so caring and he just wants everyone to be okay.
‘He’s really caring and obviously he’s the life of the party, isn’t he? But while he’s doing all that, he’s definitely thinking of others around him and just making sure everyone’s okay, so that was probably something people don’t see.
‘He’s nice, fun, supportive and really, really positive.’
Bridges added that she ‘feels sorry’ for McGregor, one of the most scrutinised athletes in the world.
‘I do feel sorry for him in a sense, especially in public,’ she said. ‘There’s so much pressure and he could probably never just be Conor Mcgregor, like properly.
‘Do you know what I mean? Especially in public – I get that a little bit but not to his scale – all the security around him and always having to be careful what you say, it’s very extreme.’
