Flintoff smiles on birthday night out a year after cricket icon’s Top Gear crash
Freddie Flintoff has been snapped smiling while celebrating his birthday with his family – a year on from his horrifying Top Gear smash.
The TV star former England cricket hero has gradually returned to the public eye following his car crash while filming a stunt for the BBC show. The 130mph crash left him with appalling facial injuries which have taken months to heal.
As part of his reintroduction to public life, Flintoff joined up with England’s backroom team for one-day series against New Zealand in the summer and is now preparing to jet off to the Caribbean for the T20 leg of the tour of the West Indies. This week, he has been celebrating his 46th birthday with his family, with wife Rachael and son Corey posting pictures on social media.
