Jarrod Bowen has earned a recall to the England squad following his impressive form for West Ham.

But there is still no place for Chelsea superstar Raheem Sterling, who has been left out for the second squad running. Gareth Southgate has named nine forwards in the 26-man squad for upcoming games against Australia and Italy at Wembley.

Ollie Watkins has also been recalled, along with John Stones and Trent Alexander-Arnold following injuries. Southgate has also kept faith with Kalvin Phillips, who has been involved with Manchester City in recent weeks.

Manchester United outcast Harry Maguire has also been included, while Southgate has also picked Bukayo Saka, despite their being concerns about the fitness of the Arsenal sensation. Ben Chilwell, Callum Wilson and Eberechi Eze have all been left out due to being injured.

There was a suggestion Newcastle's Anthony Gordon would be included for the first time, but Southgate has decided not to include him. Mason Mount has missed out as he continues to regain full fitness, although Jack Grealish has been included, having made his return from injury in City's Champions League win at RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
