Fulham vs Manchester United
In contrast to their hosts, United’s week has been a tough one, suffering back-to-back 3-0 defeats at Old Trafford, firstly against rivals Manchester City in the Premier League and then Newcastle United to crash out of the EFL Cup. Erik ten Hag is a man under pressure, though his team have been better on the road this season, picking up nine points from a possible 15, and that away form could give the Red Devils a much-needed confidence boost heading into this one.

It has been a solid week for the Cottagers, picking up a decent point on the road at Brighton last weekend in the Premier League before easing past Championship side Ipswich Town on Wednesday to reach the EFL Cup quarter-finals for the first time since the 2004-05 campaign. All in all, it has been a reasonable start to Fulham’s second season back in the top-flight, currently 14th and seven points above the bottom three.
