‘I played for Arsenal and City – but there’s one I’d prefer to win the Prem’
Niall Quinn spent seven years at Arsenal in the 1980s, before he moved up north to play for Manchester City for a further six years.
Quinn is only remembered at both clubs, but there's one he'd rather see win the Premier League this season. The Gunners and City were locked in a nip-and-tuck battle last time out, until Mikel Arteta's side ran out of steam in May.
And the pair look set to go head-to head again this season. And speaking to Ladbrokes Fanzone, Quinn said: "I don't think it would be a bad thing for the game if Arsenal got the better of them this year.

City currently hold a monopoly over England's top flight – having claimed the last three titles and the last five out of six, with only Liverpool being able to break their stranglehold. The Reds look back to their best, and Quinn noted that.

He added: "In terms of other challengers, you know, Liverpool are knocking on the door again. Chelsea and Man United are off the pace, and as for Spurs, there's definitely something unique in what that manager is doing over there, that other managers don't do, and it's shown results, that's for sure.
"They'd make up my top four, with Arsenal, Liverpool and City. But as for how things pan out at the top of the table, I still think City are the ones who'll be there. When Kevin De Bruyne comes back, too, and does all of his stuff, they're going to be so difficult to stop."
