The Argentine arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer, tasked with turning the club’s fortunes around after an abysmal 12th-placed top-flight finish last term.
But it has been a tough spell for Pochettino so far, with Chelsea winning just one of their opening six Premier League games so far this season.
That sole victory came at home against Luton Town while the Blues have lost three matches, most recently to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Speaking after the match, Pochettino urged Chelsea’s hierarchy to ‘give him time’ as the former Tottenham manager looks to bounce back from a poor start.
Chelsea are in Carabao Cup action on Wednesday and after that they face west London rivals Fulham and promoted side Burnley in the Premier League.
Wright feels it is crucial Chelsea pick up wins against Fulham and Burnley given that they are then due to play Arsenal, Brentford, Tottenham and Manchester City.
‘You look at those [next 10 fixtures], a derby against Fulham and then Burnley, those are must-win games,’ the Gunners legend said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.
‘You would worry for them [if they lose the next two]. You look at Chelsea and you think something is going to have to give soon. I think it’s the next two games. If they don’t do it, you have to start worrying for Pochettino.
‘I’m not sure if a new manager would come in and change it straight away but we have seen it with Ange Postecoglou, in five or six games he’s got a style that everyone understands and we can all see. When we look at Chelsea, we still don’t even know what their best XI is.’
