Millwall fans give Leeds fiery welcome – but one player silences c-bomb hecklers
Leeds United were given an expletive-laden welcome by Millwall fans for their Championship clash before they got the last laugh.
Daniel Farke and his Leeds squad made the trip down from Yorkshire to face Gary Rowett's side in the capital at midday on Sunday (September 17). Upon their arrival at The Den, several home fans gathered by their team coach.
Captain Luke Ayling was the first player to step off and head inside – and the first to receive a torrent of abuse. One Millwall supporter shouted at him: "Get a f***ing haircut."

Another added: "What's that on your head Ayling?" Former Manchester United winger Dan James was then called a "f***ing w*****" before Charlie Creswell and Jamie Shackleton, who both spent last season on loan at Millwall, were the next targeted.
"You have should have stayed Charlie! You should have stayed you c***," said one of the fans, and another followed up: "And you Shack. You can't grow a beard Shack."
Rather oddly, though, one of the Leeds players was spared a nasty comment – former Rangers man Glen Kamara. "That's Kamara, he used to play for erm, Rangers, yeah, he was good y’know," could be heard in the background.

But it didn't take long for the abuse to start up again, with Joel Piroe called a "fat c***" and Wilfried Gnonto imaginatively renamed "Nonce-o".
The Millwall contingent were teased for turning up early to do what they did by Leeds fans on social media, with one joking: "Scary stuff! Hope the lads are all ok."
"That’s what I call a team talk," commented a second, while a third argued: "They all sound about 12."
A fourth claimed: "This is the least intimidating thing I've ever seen." And a fifth joked: "The next Green Street movie looks a bit s***."
It's safe to say Leeds weren't put off their game – as they went on to claim a comfortable 3-0 victory on their travels thanks to a brace from Piroe and a third from Georginio Rutter.
