Richard Keys dubs Ten Hag ‘busted flush’ – says he may have days left at Man Utd
Richard Keys has called Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag a "busted flush" and said he may only have days left in the job.
Pressure was piled back on Ten Hag over the weekend after United were embarrassed 3-0 at Old Trafford by Bournemouth. That result came just days after they putt in their best performance of the season against Chelsea as they beat the Blues 2-1.
And with a trip to Anfield to come for the Red Devils next Sunday, the Keys has sounded a warning to Ten Hag that his time in charge of United could be up should they fall to another humiliating defeat against Liverpool.

Keys believes that Ten Hag’s job could be hanging by a thread heading into a tough week that sees United host Bayern Munich in a must-win Champions League game on Tuesday before taking on top of the Premier League Liverpool on Sunday. Their task will be made that much tougher on Sunday with captain Bruno Fernandes suspended – something that Keys claimed he did on purpose.
Writing in his blog, Keys said: “What about United? Everyone at the club has got a huge seven days ahead of them now. If it goes wrong – ten Hag could easily be out of work this time next week.

“Ten Hag is a busted flush, but I did feel for him as we watched him watch his captain rule himself out of the game at Liverpool. What was Fernandes thinking when he spat his dummy and went into the book with Utd three-down and with just seven minutes to go in the Bournemouth game?
"Fernandes was stupid. Getting booked when he did – moaning – was a dereliction of his duty to his manager and his club."
Ten Hag will be without Fernandes for the trip to Liverpool, which could force a shake up in tactics and personnel with the Portuguese featuring in every minute of United’s league and European campaign to date.
