Richards and Sturridge burst into dance as fans say Sky duo are ‘box office’
Sky Sports pair Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge have been called 'box office' by footy fans on social media after footage of them dancing together emerged.
Ahead of Sunday evening's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Manchester City, whom Sturridge both played for, the pair were answering questions about the two teams on social media for Sky Sports.
The former Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool striker was announced to have joined the broadcaster back in August, and recently returned to screens across the UK despite a police warrant in Los Angeles being issues for him last month.

"Big game today," bellowed Richards on a video posted to Sky Sports' X account, continuing: "Super Sunday, Chelsea versus Manchester City, but what we want to know is, who are the bigger club? You alright there?"
Sturridge then replied: "It was a close call there! Tunes were flying," referencing the background music at Stamford Bridge prior to kick off. However, instead of immediately answering the question, the pair then broke out into a spontaneous dance, swaying from side to side whilst clicking their fingers, much to the delight of fans on social media.

"Daniel Sturridge is a vibes on is own," said one fan on social media. Another said: "I like the moves. Both are fun." A third added: "These two are box office when they're together." And a fourth commented: "More of these two on television please."
"Alright, look, look," said Sturridge regaining his composure. "If we're talking about biggest club, I would say it's a close call. Obviously City have been very successful the last five to eight years, around that time. Maybe a bit before. So what I'm saying is, I think Chelsea have been more successful for longer so I think their fanbase is probably bigger for a longer period of time so I'll go with Chelsea. What about you?"

And perhaps surprisingly given his City ties, Richards agreed with Sturridge. "I have to agree," said Richards.
"Anyone with half a brain knows Chelsea are the bigger club but we're a bigger team right now. Manchester City of course. And they have the pedigree to go further."
