The Italy international midfielder was brought on at half-time after Declan Rice was forced off with a suspected left calf injury.
The score was locked at 1-1 when he entered the pitch, with the Gunners taking the lead after Cristian Romero’s own goal before before Son Heung-min levelled it up heading into the break.
Arsenal regained the lead via Bukayo Saka’s second-half penalty but just one minute later, Jorginho made a huge error.
The 31-year-old dallied on the ball and was dispossessed by James Maddison, who rolled the ball to Son for a simple finish past Arsenal’s David Raya.
Former defender Campbell, who played for both Arsenal and Spurs, was critical of Jorginho in his post-match analysis for Premier League Productions.
‘He’s not playing his game,’ Campbell said about Jorginho’s error which led to Tottenham’s second goal of the afternoon.
‘He’s usually getting the ball and moving it quickly, that is his game. He had a chance to pass to Ben White out wide.
‘He was scanning and scanning, and he just got in a muddle and they nicked the ball from him.
‘So many goals are scored in the first five minutes after your opponents score. You have to be aware.’
