Jadon Sancho has been pictured watching Manchester United’s U18s team play at Carrington while his team-mates prepare to take on Brighton at Old Trafford later this Saturday.

It comes after he was banished from the first team squad amid his ongoing feud with manager Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old has refused to back down over their disagreement, with the Dutch manager becoming incensed by Sancho’s comments on social media that effectively branded Ten Hag a liar.

The disagreement was ignited after Ten Hag said the left-winger was omitted from the teams squad for their 3-1 defeat by Arsenal due to his ‘his performances in training’.

But the England star hit back on Twitter, writing: ‘Please don’t believe everything you read!’ he said. ‘I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

The 23-year-old took to Social Media to explain why he thinks he is being used as a ‘scapecoat’

Ten Hag claimed the winger was dropped for his ‘training performance’, which Sancho denies

‘I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!

‘All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to the team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and I am grateful to do so, which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!’

The Tweet was subsequently deleted following talks with his manager, but major doubts have arisen over his future at the club, with Sancho being banished from first team training.

Sancho (pictured) was exiled from first team training after feuding with manager Ten Hag and is likely to not be including in United’s squad for their match against Brighton later today

A statement read: ‘Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.’

The feud has escalated so much so that United football director John Murtough and CEO Richard Arnold have weighed in to broker peace talks between the manager and the forward.

Sancho was seen today watching United’s U18s side and Mail Sport understands that he has been around Carrington training on his own after being exiled.

Ten Hag dodged questions about the England forward during his press conference on Friday and refused to call Sancho by his name.
