Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold left ‘shaken’ after frightening car crash

Trent Alexander-Arnold was reportedly left ‘shaken’ after narrowly avoiding an uprooted pylon smashing down on his Range Rover. The Liverpool full-back is said to have taken evasive action after Storm Babet’s treacherous 70mph winds uprooted an electricity pylon.

According to The Sun, Alexander-Arnold was extremely fortunate to avoid any serious incident as the pylon ended up crashing down on the car in front of him. The 25-year-old is said to have slammed on his brakes before crashing into the BMW X5.

Alexander-Arnold was said to be ‘shaken’ by the ordeal, but both drivers are said to have escaped the incident unharmed. A source told The Sun: “The wind was so powerful it suddenly ripped up the pylon. It was really terrifying. It’s a miracle nobody was hurt. Someone could have easily been killed.

“What are the chances of that happening? Alexander-Arnold must feel like he’s cheated death. A few seconds later and it could have gone through his windscreen. It’s absolutely treacherous out there.”
