Nan, 74, ‘left shaken’ after crash with Rashford – but didn’t know Man Utd star
A 74-year-old woman was left “shaken” after her car crash with Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Rashford was involved in a horror accident while driving his £700,000 Rolls-Royce after leaving United’s Carrington training ground on Saturday night. He and his Red Devils team-mates had returned to collect their cars following the 1-0 Premier League win over Burnley.
The 25-year-old’s luxury white motor collided with another car – driven by a nan – before being sent into a traffic camera light post. Rashford’s immediate reaction was to climb out of the vehicle and check on the elderly woman’s wellbeing after the incident, which occurred near Carrington.

She was said to be shaken due to the impact but unhurt as police arrived on the scene to breathalyse both drivers. No arrests were made and the woman, who did not know who Rashford was, said she did not want to go to hospital.
The Sun state a source said: “The woman was on her way home from babysitting her grand-daughter. She’s a cautious, careful driver and even more so when it’s raining — which it was.
“The impact caused the airbags to go off. She was very, very shaken and confused. She’s not a football fan and didn’t have any idea who Marcus Rashford is.”
Another source told The Mirror how Rashford’s Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes stopped by on the scene, having left Carrington slightly later than the forward. Fernandes checked to see whether both his team-mate and the woman motorist were okay.

The source said: "Modern vehicles are incredibly robust, and that helped to protect Marcus. He got out of the car unassisted and his first thought was for the woman motorist to make sure that she was not hurt.
"Bruno stopped because he saw his team-mate and obviously he was worried about him and the woman driver. So he made sure they were both fine and able to leave the scene without any problems."
