The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) have reportedly been in contact with Manchester United to try ‘to help resolve the disagreement’ between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag.Ā

On Monday, it was revealed that the 23-year-old has been banned from all first team facilitiesĀ at the club’s training ground amid his ongoing dispute with the Dutch manager.

According to The Times, the PFA, have ‘contacted the club and Sancho to try to help the two men settle their differences.’Ā

But the outlet says that ‘there has been no resolution’ and doubts have been cast over whether the right-winger will be included in the squad for United’s EFL Cup clash against Crystal Palace on Tuesday at Old Trafford.Ā

Their dispute arose after the Dutch coach had claimed Sancho’s omission from United’s 3-1 defeat by Arsenal was because of the winger’s ‘performances in training.’

It prompted a response from the England forward who claimed he was ‘being made a scapegoat’ in a now-deleted post on social media.

He wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ā€˜I have conducted myself in training very well this weekā€™ and ā€˜Iā€™ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isnā€™t fair!ā€™

Ten Hag was set to hold talks with Sancho to clear the air, with Mail Sport also revealing that Man United football directorĀ football John Murtough and CEOĀ Richard Arnold had taken an active roleĀ in trying to repair the rift.Ā

But the club subsequently banished Sancho from first-team trainingĀ telling the winger to train alone, with Sancho being spotted watching Man United’s U18s play.

He was also an absentee during their 1-0 win against BurnleyĀ at the weekend, with Ten Hag, who is known for his hard ball attitude to discipline,Ā axing Cristiano Ronaldo after the pair had fallen outĀ in 2022, waiting for an apology from Sancho before he is welcomed back into the fold.Ā

But the winger is refusing to budge on his position and is unhappy at his exile from the club’s first team facilities.

Sancho had been pictured watching Manchester United ‘s U18s team play at Carrington while his team-mates prepared to take on Brighton at Old Trafford

But he continues to stand his ground and not apologise even after being banished from first team training

Mail Sport had also reported that the winger had been late on numerous occasions to trainingĀ and did not meet the Dutchman’s standards.Ā

Sancho’s exile means that Ten Hag currently only has one right winger, Facundo Pellistri, available.

Antony is currently on a leave of absenceĀ amid ongoing domestic abuse allegations while Amad Diallo has been sidelined at the start of the campaign after he suffered an injury during Man United’s pre-season.

Mason Mount, meanwhile, could be considered an option to play on the wing, with the 24-year-old, who is nearing a return from injury, enjoying success in the position during his time at Ch
