UFC president Dana White has confirmed he is keen on signing British MMA star Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
Page, 36, who is widely known as MVP, made his name with rival organisation Bellator for a decade between 2013 and 2023, but walked away from them earlier this year.
The free agent is now looking for his next opportunity, and White believes that could come with the UFC.
Speaking on Saturday night at UFC 294, White said: ‘He’s a kid that we’re definitely interested in. He’s interested too. Possibly.’
Page has previously refused to rule out returning to Bellator, but has also spoken about embracing new opportunities, suggesting he would be open to joining the UFC.

‘I think it’s time for me to just explore what else is out there,’ Page told MMA Fighting in July.
‘It doesn’t mean I’m not going to go back with Bellator. It just means I want to see what other people think of MVP.’
Page has an impressive MMA record of 21-2 since making his professional debut in 2012.
He has established himself as one of the best strikers on the circuit, winning 13 of his contests by knockout.
His latest victory came by TKO via a leg kick against Brazil’s Goiti Yamauchi in March.
Page has also tried his hand at boxing and bare-knuckle fighting over the years. He won both of his boxing matches in 2017 and 2018, but was beaten by former UFC star Mike Perry in their bare-knuckle fight last year after losing a majority decision.
Page has largely operated in the welterweight division during his MMA career. The UFC welterweight belt is currently held by another Brit, Leon Edwards, with the 32-year-old set to make the second defence of his title against America’s Colby Covington in Las Vegas on December 16.
Page is known as a brutal striker, having secured 13 of his 21 wins in MMA via knockout
